5 Easy Things

September 11, 2013

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation needs you to get involved and help spread the word. Here are 5 fun, easy things you can do now to raise awareness and help HERA save women’s lives.

Get Your Teal On

While Friday, September 6 is Wear Teal Day, we want you to wear something bold & beautiful ANY day in September to raise awareness.  Buy a teal gift for someone you love.  Need inspiration? Shop HERA for cool ideas.

Celebrate HERA

We’re celebrating all things HERA!  Some of HERA’s generous sponsors are on board to thank our generous HERA community:

TeaGschwendner, our newest Partner in Action, offers 15% off on their full Green tea collection on purchases over $20.  Click here to shop TeaGschwendner, and enter code:  smiletea.

Bronwen Lodato, our longtime jewelry partner, is offering a 25% discount on the fabulous HERA lotus necklace or HERA lotus bracelet.  They’re powerful and beautiful, just like women.  Click here buy the HERA necklace, or here to buy the HERA bracelet, and enter code:  Hera25.

Mountain Khakis, our longtime clothing partner, is offering a 20% discount on on-line purchases for the HERA Community only.  This offer is valid through Monday, Sept. 16 at 11:59 pm EST and is good on MK products only (no backorders or in-store purchases; quantities limited to stock on hand).  Click here to shop Mountain Khakis, and enter code:  MK20HERA.

Be Out Loud

Learn the symptoms of ovarian cancer for yourself, and share them with all the women in your life. Click here to Know the Symptoms, and pass it along.  We can’t do it alone, so help spread the word.

Make a Donation

Every donation to HERA helps.  Why do we do it?  To stop the loss of women from ovarian cancer.  88% of the funds we raise support HERA’s programs such as the scientific research grants and the community grants.  Click here to donate now.  Do it for all the women in your life.

Get Involved

HERA is always looking for new Board members to help our cause.  If you are energetic, passionate, and committed to our mission, email your resume to:  info@herafoundation.beta.mystagedsite.com.  Tell us why you want to get involved.

Established in 2002, the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to stop the loss of women from ovarian cancer by promoting Health, Empowerment, Research, and Awareness. More information is available at www.herafoundation.org.
